All our products are vegetarian and free from preservatives and any artificial ingredients. When you purchase Old Hill cheese you can be assured of getting 100% cheese and nothing else, the rich flavours and taste stands apart from anything else. All of our cheeses are handcrafted using age-old European techniques and the wheels of Gruyere cheese are aged in a controlled environment for a duration of around 6-12 months. A lot of love and care goes into developing the cheese over such a long duration of time. Gruyere cheese has a mild nutty and earthy flavour with almost a sort of sweetness in its after taste. This is perhaps one of the finest table cheeses that one can have stored in your refrigerator. It is low in fat and Lactose, high in proteins and calcium so suits those on a Keto diet. Our cheesemakers recommendation is to use cheese at the very end of making your dish as heating the cheese can considerably reduce the flavour.
