Dry Shiitake Mushrooms
Shiitake mushrooms are low in calories and offer good amounts of fibre. Quite versatile in the kitchen, they go best with stir-fires and lend a deep umami flavour and a smoky aroma.
All you need to do is soak them in lukewarm water for 30 minutes and they're ready for your pan! Store them in a cool, dry place and they can last up to a whole year.
