Chanterelles host a great amount of vitamins B and D and have always been a favourite ingredient in French cuisine. Great in soups, cream sauces, souffles, and sautes, Chanterelles maintain their texture and aroma well even when dried. Chanterelle mushrooms are also an excellent source of polysaccharides like chitin and chitosan. These two compounds help to protect your cells from damage and stimulate your immune system to produce more cells. All you need to do is soak them in lukewarm water for 30 minutes and they're ready for your pan!
Store them in a cool, dry place and they can last up to a whole year!

Mushrooms are typically grown on agricultural waste such as wheat or paddy straw, sawdust, etc. The mushroom seed gets its nutrition from this waste, and then when given the right environmental conditions (low temperature, high humidity) leads to a beautiful bounty of mushrooms!
